Dear Believers Band,

This is the plan for the Lakeside Service on Sunday, May 17th.

Dress:

Blue “Believers Band” polo shirt (contact Betty Foster if you do not have one)
Khaki pants (capris, skirts, or shorts)
Baseball cap, optional (be mindful of what the cap says)
Jacket (optional – depends on weather)
Sunglasses

Bring:

Instrument
Music
Music stand
Clothespins – to hold your music if it is windy.  
Water – we get thirsty!

Schedule:

7:45 arrive at GFUMC – Set-up (percussion and helpers please arrive at 7:30)
7:55 Be in your seats
8:00 – 8:20 Warm-up and tune
8:20 Break (hopefully)
8:25 Be in your seats
8:27 Service Begins

We will play rain or shine.  If there is a threat of rain, we will move into the sanctuary. For those that are new to playing at the lakeside, the venue is to the right as you’re facing the front of the church. Just follow the sidewalk and path down the hill. You can’t miss it. There are no restroom facilities at lakeside so take care of that before you walk down the hill. Let us know if you need assistance.
