Dear Believers Band,

Wow!  Monday’s sectionals were great!  I worked with the trumpets and they did an awesome job!!  I heard that all of the other sections were very fun and productive.  I appreciate the leaders of the sectionals and everyone that worked so hard.

Even though we had wonderful sectionals, I am changing some of the pieces.  I want the Veterans Day Concert to be awesome and I don’t think we have enough time to get several pieces ready.  With input from the sectional leaders, I have decided to eliminate “American Salute” and “Victory at Sea” from the concert.  I am sorry if this disappoints anyone.  I hope to revisit these in the future.  I have added some more manageable pieces that I hope you will enjoy preparing and performing.
