Dear Band Members,

We need your help to have a successful, well-attended Veterans Day Concert by distributing posters, flyers and cards with our concert information. These materials will be handed out after rehearsal on Monday, October 14, at both doors.

Suggested locations: assisted living/senior living communities, veterans organizations such as The American Legion, VFW, etc., retail and service businesses, fire stations, police departments, high schools, colleges/universities, dentist/doctor offices, along with family and friends. Oakwood, Flowery Branch, and surrounding counties should also be covered if possible.

For the past two years, I and several other band members have been distributing these promotional materials around the Gainesville downtown square so this area is covered. However, you are welcome to join us. If interested, I will give you the date and time.

We suggest that you wear your blue band shirt (and a smile) when you go out with the materials. A short conversation with the organization or business owner is also a good idea.
