Please note, we will have two rehearsals before the Veterans Day Performance.  Our regular Monday rehearsal and our dress/tech rehearsal on Sunday. We will need help setting up before each of these rehearsals.  Please come early to help, if possible.

We will wear our formal uniform for this concert:

Men: Black tuxedo, white shirt, black bow tie, and black shoes and socks.

Women: Long black dress or a black blouse with a black long skirt or black dressy slacks

and black dress shoes.

Here is the concert order for the Veterans Day Concert on Friday, November 11th at 7:00 pm:

042 – Strike Up the Band

Presentation of Colors

003 – The Star-Spangled Banner

The Pledge of Allegiance

Welcome – Rev. Jamey Prickett

004 – National Emblem

053 – Someone to Watch Over Me – Michelle Martin

028 – Cadillac of the Skies

058 – Goin’ Home

015 – Over There – Michelle Martin

552 – Armed Forces Salute

190 – An American Celebration – A Patriotic Sing-a-Long

I would recommend bringing music stand lights to both rehearsals and the concert.

Here is the music for the Jingle Mingle (with some recordings):

  • 059 – The Chicken Dance
  • 311 – White Christmas
  • 318 – The Sounds of Christmas Joy –

You may want to look these over before our one rehearsal on Monday, November 18th.  Remember, trumpets, it’s not all about the chicken dance!

Blessings,

David
