The American Legion is hosting a fund raiser for Gainesville native Katie Nanney. Katie is a 13-year-old gymnast. On October 7th, her family was involved in a terrible car accident with Katie injured the most severely. The accident broke her jaw, both legs and her right arm. The Believers Band is just a small part of a fun day including a car show, barbeque, and other food vendors that are joining together to raise money for the family. The Believers Band will be making a donation to the American Legion for Katie’s medical care and recovery. If you’d like to contribute, please give your donation to our treasurer, Warren Almand, prior to the concert. This is a free event for the public, so invite all of your friends!
Monday, November 13th, we will have a dress rehearsal for Thursday’s concert in the GFUMC sanctuary.
Thursday, November 11th, 7:00pm – Veterans Day Concert – GFUMC – 2780 Thompson Bridge Rd., Gainesville, GA 30506
Monday, November 20th, we will rehearse for the Jingle Mingle.
Saturday, November 20th, 6-8:00pm – Jingle Mingle – Main Street Market – Gainesville
Through our music, we want to express our sincere thanks for the sacrifices that our veterans and their families make in service to our country. God bless the U.S.A.!
David
