Hello Believers,
Several of you have asked about our upcoming rehearsals in light of the current Covid situation. Our board recently discussed this and has spoken to John LaForge at GFUMC to get an update on church guidance. As of this date, church COVID policy currently states that it is strongly recommended that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask while inside the church. It is also recommended, where possible, to social distance.
In an abundance of caution, it has been decided to move the first few rehearsals to the Reception Hall. This will allow us to spread out more than if we stay in the choir room. We also encourage members to adhere to the church policy of wearing masks until we begin playing.
We begin rehearsals this coming Monday evening at 6 PM in the Reception Hall off of the main church hallway. Given the room lighting, we suggest that everyone bring their stand lights. We will need to move percussion equipment so we are asking volunteers to arrive at 5 PM to assist.
This rehearsal will begin work on our Broadway themed concert program. Please be sure to print and bring the following music to the rehearsal:
