October 31, 2013
Dear Band,
Nice job last night and thanks for your attendance. You will be proud of the concert. I must say that it is difficult for me not to get involved, but with the talented conductors we have, I need to stay out of their way.
I want to give my most heart felt thanks to Beth, Larry and Bill for their stepping up, taking charge, and sharing their God given talents to make this concert important to the Veterans and their families. Thank you, conducting team, for you commitment.
Following is a list of the music in program order with some rehearsal notes that you may want to put in your music.
At next Tuesday’s rehearsal, we will first review the “tricky” spots in the program and then play the program in song order. PLEASE HAVE YOUR MUSIC IN SONG ORDER BY REHEARSAL TIME – THANKS.
Please bring your own stands for rehearsal. We will have stands in the rack, in the hall in case you forget.
Without a doubt this will be my most difficult concert because I am not “up there” or in charge of anything. This concert will depend on teamwork – listening and focus.
If at all possible, please be at rehearsal Tuesday.
Be safe.
Richard
