I want to thank everyone who helped set up the band – much appreciated. WE NEED HELP SUNDAY 12:20 to set up. It should not take as long as rehearsal set up.
Please be careful as we negotiate the risers and tight seating. Take your time – no mishaps, please.

When I selected the music for the program I didn’t realize that the program would be as demanding as it is. We have more high notes in this one concert than we have ever had. We have many key changes and tons of accidentals with “Parker’s Rule” everyplace. Just remember, stay focused, pace yourself. If we play Sunday like we did in rehearsal we will have a fantastic concert. Welcome, all the new players, to your first Veterans Concert.
Moving on, we will have rehearsal next Tuesday. We have two rehearsals to learn about twenty songs for the Jingle Mingle concert on Thursday evening, November 19. We should have no problem with them and have a lot of fun. Listed below are the song titles we will work on Tuesday. I believe all of the songs are on the web.
Something to think about – a couple years ago we had a small group go to some nursing homes and other places to play – had lunch – played again and went home. We could do that in December if there is enough interest. We would play the same music as we will for Jingle Mingle. Think on that and we will discuss next Tuesday.
