Dear Band,

Thank you for a very productive rehearsal. I apologize in advance for this long email, BUT several topics need to be covered – Tuesday’s rehearsal, music for Lakeside, our schedule and the Cowboy concert.

Next Tuesday’s rehearsal is really important. We will need to clean up some of 635 Western Horizons (Trumpets, if you could find a little time to woodshed your parts it would be great), run through the Cowboy program PLUS play the Lakeside music. Below is the “Song Order” for the concert . Also listed is the music for May 22 – Lakeside service, please have all of this music with you for the next two weeks. We will run through 435 Swedish Hymn of Praise (How Great Thou Art) during the Cowboy warm up. We will need to extend next week’s rehearsal until 7:45. Also note that we will not play 632 American Images. Please be in place by 5:55, if possible.

As a reminder, I have included the rehearsal and performance schedule for the remainder of May and June. Please check your calendars and attend as many rehearsals as possible between now and June 26. I will send the list of Patriotic music out after the Cowboy Concert.

The Cowboy Concert is going to be a lot of fun! We will be playing in the Sanctuary – but in front of the choir loft. The three songs after “The Cowboys” will be for the audience and children to “Sit In” the band with us. That should be interesting. Please wear your “outfits.”
