Dear Band,
Thanks again for another good rehearsal. I have no doubt that you will have everything ready by the time we have our combined rehearsals with the choir.
This email is about Sunday’s Lakeside worship Service – another email about Tuesday’s rehearsal and the Patriotic Concert will be sent out later.
Please be at Lakeside by 8:10 to warm up and to help set up. Remember that there are no restrooms at Lakeside. We will need some help with the drums also. I would like run through the new hymn and In the Garden before we start playing at or close to 8:15. Clothes pens are always a good idea.
If you were not at rehearsal last Tuesday, I will have music for the new hymn Sunday morning.
Please bring your stands in case we might have to move inside. Also, don’t forget a cap – the forecast is for “warm”. There should be water for you at the top of the hill.
The dress will be the Believers Band blue shirt and khaki trousers, shorts or skirts. If you need a band shirt, please email me ASAP and Rita will arrange to get you one Sunday morning.
With all of the activities in preparing for the Patriotic concert, I sometimes forget the reason for playing. I look forward to lifting our sounds to the Lord Sunday and being part of the worship service. Be safe and look forward to sharing with you Sunday.
