Dear Concert Band,
It is supper time on Saturday. By the time you get this email we will have successfully finished the Spring Concert. My head will be about three sizes larger and my chest will be stretched out with pride – I am proud of you.
I am writing to give you a heads up on what music to bring to rehearsal Tuesday. At our next rehearsal, I would just like to have some fun playing our horns. We do have a Cowboy Concert and the Patriotic Concert to prepare for but I think that we can take a little time off. Following is the list of music for rehearsal. Thanks to Parker – all of the music is on the web site.
Please remember that we will not play at Lakeside on May 15 and June 12. I would ask you toPLEASE CHECK YOUR CALENDARS TO SEE IF YOU CAN PLAY FOR LAKESIDE WORSHIP SERVICE ON MAY 22. That is our Pastor’s last Sunday before he transfers to a District office. John, as well as I, would like for the band to play for Terry’s last Sunday here at GFUMC. Please make every effort to participate. If we do not have a balanced band we cannot participate.
Looking forward to sharing stories with you Tuesday.
Take care,
Richard
PS : Notice that I arranged the songs by numerical order just for Wayne – he will be back Tuesday – Welcome back Wayne!
PSS: Rumor has it that Bill Risinger is going to try and play the Cowboy Concert with us – GREAT!
