The band has grown in talent and repertoire over the past twenty two years. 

Our Artistic Director, David Arvold continues to “mix things up” with new themes and music for our concerts. We look forward to seeing you at each of these events.

Lakeside Worship

September 15, 2024 – 8:30 am – Lakeside at Gainesville First United Methodist Church

Lakeside Worship is held by the shore of Lake Lanier. You can worship from your boat in Serenity Cove, across the lake from the American Legion, or experience this casual, family atmosphere on land.  The Believers Concert Band will provide sacred music for the service.

Veterans Day Concert

November 11, 2024 – 7:00 pm – Sanctuary at Gainesville First United Methodist Church

The Believers Concert Band is excited to present a special Veterans Day tribute concert on Monday, November 11, 2024, 7 pm – Sanctuary at Gainesville First United Methodist Church, 2780 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA. We want to pay tribute to our veterans and their families and give thanks for the sacrifices they make in service to our country. The 50-piece band will present a selection of patriotic music that includes familiar favorites as well as a few new pieces we are sure you will enjoy. There will be something for everyone.

GFUMC is extremely generous to provide the Believers Band with a regular rehearsal space and is a beautiful venue for this celebration of our nation’s veterans. The concert is free and everyone is welcome! Invite a friend.

Wear your red, white, and blue, if you wish, and join The Believers Concert Band in the GFUMC sanctuary for a fun evening of patriotic music and gratitude for our veterans. We look forward to seeing you there!
