Dear Believers,

Last night’s concert was wonderful!  I heard many, many positive comments!  It was a moving tribute to our veterans!  Great job, everyone!

I am looking forward to the “Jingle Mingle” this Saturday, November 18th!!!  Here are the details:

  • The Main Street Market, 118 Main Street SW, Gainesville, GA  30501
  • Be there, rain or shine!!  
  • Parking is available in the parking garages.
  • Jingle Mingle activities are from 4-8:00 pm so give yourself plenty of time to park and get to the Main Street Market
  • Dress in your most festive Christmas-wear – decorate your instruments and music stands – have fun making music!
  • Early set-up – arrive around 4:30 pm –– Percussion set-up first and then chairs – I will be there to facilitate the set up.  Please come and help if possible. 
  • 5:00 pm – Call time
  • 5:15 pm – Warm-up.  
  • Bring a music stand, music stand lights, instrument and the following music (in numerical order):

    • 319 Listen to the Season
    • 320 On a Winter’s Eve

    • 773 Jingle Bells Forever
  • 5:45-6:30 – Play first set of music
  • 6:30-7:00 – Eat and enjoy performances on the stage

(Food provided by Main Street Market)

  • 7:00-7:15 – The Lighting of the “Big Chicken” Ceremony/Fireworks 
  • 7:15-8:00 – Play second set
  • 8:00 – Pack-up, help put the market back together.  

Here is the schedule for the remainder of 2023:

  • Monday, November 13 from 6-8:00 pm – Regular Rehearsal
  • Saturday, November 18, call time 5:00 pm (set-up 4:30 pm) – Jingle Mingle Performance 
  • Monday November 20 & 27, 2023 – No Rehearsal – Happy Thanksgiving!!
  • Monday, December 4, 11, 18 from 6-8:00 pm – Regular Rehearsal
  • Monday December 25, 2023 & January 1, 2023 – No Rehearsal – Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
  • Monday, January 8 from 6-8:00 pm – Regular Rehearsal
