Hello Believers,

It is with regret that we notify everyone of the passing of Believers Concert Band member Don Hough.   Don played trombone in the band for 7+ years. He will be missed. His obituary from the Atlanta Journal is included below.  We also wanted to pass along the following email that the Band received from Don’s son Ralph.

Member Relations Committee

Dear David (and fellow Believers),
I am Ralph Hough, Don Hough’s son. As you may be aware, Don has not been able to be a part of the band for a few months now due to inability to get to rehearsals and some health issues. Those health issues finally took its toll and he died yesterday (May 30) early in the morning. He certainly loved playing his instruments and I would have to guess at 92 he probably had about 80 years into playing in bands and orchestras. I am thankful he had the opportunity to play in your Christian group. We grew up with him playing with our church organist quite a bit! We will be having a memorial service for him on June 24 at 2 pm at Lanier Village Estates. Please share with the rest of the players. There will be more info to follow within the next week.
