Hi Believers,
Here is the plan for the next few weeks:
- Monday, February 20th, 6-8:00 pm – Rehearsal in GFUMC Great Room
- Thursday, February 23rd, 6-8:00 pm – Dress rehearsal in GFUMC Great Room
- Sunday, February 26th, 4:00 pm – Music: The Heart of Dance – 2:00 pm Call time
- Monday, February 27th, No rehearsal
- Monday, March 6th, Regular rehearsals resume
We will have two rehearsals this week. Our regular Monday rehearsal and our dress rehearsal on Thursday (February 23rd) from 6-8:00 pm with the Gainesville Ballet Company. For both rehearsals please be warmed up and tuned before 6:00 pm so we can quickly get into the music. Remember that you will need a good music stand light.
We want to take pictures of each section before and after rehearsal on Monday. Please wear the Believers Band polo with tan pants/slacks. If you don’t have a Believers Band polo just wear a medium blue shirt.
We need the Band’s help with distributing our concert promotional materials to the community. We have 11 x 17 posters as well as new 5 x 7 cards. Please take some of these with you Monday evening and take to your neighborhood, church, and any other locations where they will be seen. The 5 x 7 cards are ideal for this purpose.
We also need as many people as possible to help with moving equipment and setting up prior to both upcoming rehearsals. If you can get to the church early, please do.
We will wear all black for this concert:
Men: Black shirt, black pants, and black shoes and socks
Women: Black dress or black shirt, black slacks/skirt, and black shoes and socks (Black jacket is optional)
Here is the concert order for Music the Heart of Dance Concert:

David
