I had a chance to visit with Stacy today. She’s in good spirits, but also in a lot of pain. She wanted the band members to know that she considers herself a current (not former) band member, who has just been too busy lately with school and extracurricular activities to attend rehearsals. She is enthusiastic about returning to band after she has finished with rehab. (She demonstrated to me that her fingers all work fine.) She underwent 2-1/2 hours of surgery to close the wounds primarily on her right lower leg and heel, as well as her left forearm. She may require additional surgery.

Her husband, Tony, is now teaching at Cherokee Bluff, so she may need some assistance with transportation to rehab appointments once she is discharged from the hospital.
