Hi Believers!

The Delta variant has brought COVID once again to the forefront of everyone’s mind.  The Board has heard from Dr. Rodney Smith and has consulted with GFUMC.  The church COVID task force is due to meet Monday evening.  Since we will not know the outcome and possible policy changes coming out of that meeting prior to our rehearsal, in an abundance of caution, we are moving tomorrow evening’s (August 2nd) rehearsal outside to Lakeside at GFUMC.  We are already planning to have our August 9th rehearsal outside at the Smithgall Arts Center where the August 14th performance will take place. 

We remind everyone that they should always follow church COVID guidelines when inside the church building.  Please exercise caution given the Delta variant and if not feeling well, stay home and take care of yourself. 

For tomorrow evening’s rehearsal at Lakeside please bring:

• Instrument
• Music
• Music stand
• Clothes pins (optional)
• Portable chair (In case needed)

Please arrive early so we can get set up and start promptly at 6 pm.  We have a lot of material to cover so be prepared that we may need to go to 8 pm.

We are asking everyone to check their email again around mid-day tomorrow in case there are any last-minute updates to these instructions.
