Dearest Believers,
Greetings. Hope everyone is well.
Sharing here a few notes in hopes of keeping in touch and “up to speed”:
- First and foremost, we want to address concerns about Clair Arvold, who is now back from her extended stay at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. She has a condition the doctor called “New Daily Persistent Headaches”. The doctors believe this condition might have connection with spinal fluid level. More tests to come and please keep her in your prayers.
- Some of you are playing in the brass ensemble and the wind ensemble, both of which usually meet on Tuesdays in the pavilion at the end of Riverside (past the Legion building). The plans for tonight? Well, we are still setting things up to meet tonight (Nov 10, 2020,) hurricane Eta notwithstanding!
- Speaking of practice plans, here is a summary of some U of M research that David (and other Believers) are looking over. If you want to dig deeper, the actual study may be worth your while — it is both theoretical and practical.
- Many of us are not on Facebook, and so some of you may have missed seeing and hearing the beautiful tribute David (and Clair) put together for Chuck McKissick. This is now available on YouTube if you missed it.
In his sermon last week, Rev. Mike Morgan alluded to the viral recording of our own Sam Blount. Here is the link to Sam Blount singing People Need the Lord.
