Dear Band:

Thank you for a great rehearsal yesterday. We are making good progress but we have a long way to go. The good news is that we have 6 more rehearsals but they will only be useful if you first attend AND you practice in between. Please don’t come to rehearsals without practicing at home.

It’s good to see so many of you back and a very special welcome to our newest members, David and James (trumpets), and Colleen (oboe). We have great instrumentation now and we will be able to deliver a meaningful Veteran’s program on November 5th.

I will receive our last new concert piece tomorrow and will give it to Parker to load in our Music Library as quickly as possible. Hopefully it will be in the Library by next Tuesday’s rehearsal. Parker tells me that the number for this piece of music will be “666.” (Hope no one is superstitious.)

Please bring to next Tuesday’s rehearsal the following music.

570 – A Call to Victory
666 – The Greatest Generation (not there now but should be by Tuesday)
