Dear Band,
I want to thank all of you for putting up with me as I tried to work through my knee problem and not have surgery. It looks as if there is nothing else I can do except have the surgery, it is set for Tuesday, August, 26.
While I am off Larry, Bill and Diannasue have all agreed to cover rehearsals for me. Larry will be the “Team Leader” and direct the Lakeside Worship Services on September 14. Larry’s email is larryfpreiss@bellsouth.net if you need him.
There was some confusion as to what music to bring to rehearsal. The “Team” will be working on the music listed below for the next four weeks. If possible, please have everything in your notebooks for next week’s rehearsal. Please note: two new hymns are on the list.
I do appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. Don’t forget to say a prayer for Rita – she has to put up with me.
