Dear Band,

It was nice being with you again after a three week layoff. You certainly raised my spirits. I was surprised that I was completely wiped out after only 20 minutes.

I do want to thank Larry, Bill and Dianasue for their leadership. Because of their extra efforts we will be able to perform the Sounds of Victory Veterans Concert on November 9.

I consider it an honor to get the invitation from Bill Risinger for the band to play for Governor Deal on Sunday, October 12, at Lakewood Baptist Church. We will play the same music that we prepared for last week’s Lakeside Worship Service. More details soon.

Because Rita is having cataract surgery next Tuesday, I will not be at rehearsal on September 23, but will be ready to go on September 30.

Following is a list of music that I am considering for the Sounds of Victory Veterans Concert. Please bring all of these selections to rehearsals plus the music for the Lakewood Baptist Worship Service.

I feel very fortunate to work and have fun with such a great group as you. I hope to see all of you on the 30th.

Be safe,

Richard
