Dear Band,
Well nothing seems to have changed since last Tuesday’s rehearsal – all drama or trauma for me since then. My week will make a great opening 3 minutes at rehearsal. I do need to share this, we are so proud, my eleven year old granddaughter Carson went to the state bow shooting two weeks ago and won the Georgia State Championship for her age and bow type. This weekend she went to Nationals in Louisville, Ky, and scored 598 out of 600, shot one hundred fourteen “X”s out of one hundred twenty and was ranked fourteenth in the Nation. We are not too proud!
Now down to band stuff – I AM PULLING MAN OF LA MANCHA FROM THE SPRING PROGRAM. I believe we could perform it but it could also keep us from getting the rest of the songs up to a good playable standard.
I do want you to you to bring to rehearsal Tuesday A NEW SONG 636 SCOTTISH AYRE.
I look forward to a fantastic rehearsal.
Be safe,
Richard
