Dear Band,
Thank you for an excellent rehearsal. All of the transitions went well, the sectional balance was better, the intonation was good and most of the rough spots are sounding up to standard – Great!
Below is the rehearsal order for next week. Notice that we will work on some of the transitions for only a few minutes and then run the program. I don’t think that we will go much past 7:35 – 7:45. I do need to hear everything “back to back” before the dress rehearsal, in case I need to make some changes. If at all possible, please be in your seats ready to play at 6:00.
A special reminder – PLEASE WATCH TURNING ONTO THOMPSON BRIDGE – WE ALMOST HAD A SERIOUS WRECK WITH A TRUCK.
Remember trombones, you get to welcome us at the door during April – much appreciated.
This is going to be a fantastic concert – now if we only had a drum.
Be safe,
Richard
PS – Please remember to contact your friends – it would be nice to play for a full house.
